Binary Stream Software came to KIMBO for a complete redesign of its existing website. As an IT solutions provider focusing specifically on Microsoft Dynamics 365 & GP products, Binary Stream wanted a WordPress website that is compatible with all of the company’s existing Microsoft environment and third-party applications/plugins. So working creatively within the constraints of brand standards and integration with APIs (e.g. ERP, forms, chatbot, video player, etc.) was a key part of this project.

The Challenge:
Maintaining a consistent visual style that presents Binary Stream’s products was a big challenge. The KIMBO team opted for a modern and minimalist design that is in-line with the look and feel of the Binary Stream brand, making heavy use of the Navy and Gold brand colours throughout the website. Large images and custom-designed graphics/animations are also utilized for improved user engagement.
The Strategy:
A members’ portal accessible by login credentials is also integrated with the website for resources not available to the public. The homepage includes a news/updates section for timely announcements to be featured, with a hideaway timer that minimizes this section after a few seconds for a fluid user experience.
Results
The redesigned Binary Stream website emphasizes on a professional and consistent look and feel. It is compatible with the company’s existing Microsoft-focused environment and is hosted on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Hosting platform for maximum scalability.
As Binary Stream offers a range of products on many different platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc.), with tailored solutions for a number of key industries. The navigation menu buttons in the new website needed to be set-up in a logical manner and are all linked to their respective topics, productions, solutions, and resources.
