BC Alpine, the governing body for alpine ski racing in British Columbia, strives to lead and manage the sport across the province. Their mission includes providing leadership and structure for clubs to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and affordable programs, while also promoting the competitive, recreational, and lifestyle benefits of ski racing to the community.

The Challenge

The main challenge was to effectively promote the giveaway page and generate sales within a limited timeframe, while ensuring that Facebook approved the campaign ads despite the giveaway promotion, which often faces rejection.

We crafted ad creatives and copy that complied with Facebook’s guidelines for promoting giveaways, ensuring they were engaging and responsive for the targeted audience. Initially, we created a landing page on the BC Alpine site to test for Facebook’s approval.

The campaign was monitored daily, with adjustments made as necessary. Notably, video boosts proved highly effective, driving more sales. Consequently, we allocated more of the campaign budget to this format.

 

 

Results

Combining the performance of the landing page and Trellis, the campaign achieved significant engagement and sales.
